Brian Patch Practices on the Skateboarding Mega Ramp

You know the saying practice makes perfect. Well here we have Brian Patch at Point X doing just that. This ramp is 60 feet tall because it is on a hill so its not as high as the one you would see at the Xgames, the gap in between the take off and the landing is 55 feet wide and the quarter pipe that he blasts huge airs off of is 27 feet tall. The average air is about 15 feet high so when Brian Patch is fully extended in the air he is 42 feet from the ground on every air whether he lands it or not.

The first part of the video clip is filmed from on top of the Mega Ramp it shows what you look at when you roll in the mega ramp. The next angle is off to the side a little bit and Brian comes flying from out of the right corner of your screen and the rest is filmed from on top of the 27 foot tall quarter pipe. Brian Patch makes two attempts in this from this angle and bails and then there are a few successfull landings. He also rolls in off the deck which is just crazy from 27 feet up in there air. These are huge jumps and an interesting new genre of skateboarding.
