Louie Baur and Chris Gentry

I first met Chris Gentry back in about 1996. These were the days of Kingdom Skateboards and way before Frontside 540′s were a standard trick. I lived on the same street as Chris and we became friends and hung out a lot at that spot on Ogle Street in Costa Mesa. There are many cool things and great experiences I have had with Gentry over the years but the one that stands out the most was going on tour with him in a shitty green RV for 21 days. Man were rocked it ghetto style and had like 8 people sleeping in that thing every night. Got to see some great places that tour and got to skate some amazing stuff in utah, wyoming and colorado. I believe that tour was in 1999. Man I can’t believe its been 10 years since that trip. Anyway Gentry is my homey for sure and got me up on the vert ramp during many contests and that is pretty much my favorite place to be.
