Here are some pictures from the X Games 15 Street Course that is being built at the Home Depot Center in Carson. From what I can tell this course is going to be big! California Skateparks just got done building the Maloof Money Cup Street Course a few weeks ago and that park was pretty sick. One thing that carried over was the use of bricks throughout the course. It looks cool and on the part with the transition it kinda feels like the Brooklyn Banks or something like that. It looks like there is going to be two 12 Stair sections, a 7 stair section and a big middle section with rails and ledges and some brick transition. Check out the the pics and video below for a closer look. Click on the images for a bigger version.

thanks for the photos !! they are great. Grabbing ~~~
It’s about time that the Xgames made a legit street course.
What a waste of resources and of a park. Why can’t these large corporations build these things in city that needs a park and leave it there.
What ESPN (who is owned by Disney) you can use Philadelphia and it’s history to try and make the first 2 X Games seem credible, but you build the city a park? That would actually do something for skateboarding, and not you bottom line?
And I LOVE the bricks and graffiti it makes it feel like it isn’t a park but a real street spot. And I like how they are giving a couple skateboarders jobs behind the scenes at the X-Games and at ESPN. They finally realized they can completely take over skateboarding, they need a few front men to make things look credible. This makes Disney’s… err I mean ESPN… errr EXPN’s and the X-Games completely legit.
The X-Games suck, its just a gimick to sell advertising space, along with their new blog, and 3 skateboarder bloggers. Wow, out of all the money Disney has they can give 3 skateboarders money, wooooo, this is almost the same as a company like Sole Tech or Deluxe that is actually run and owned by skateboarders and made for skateboarders.
If anyone needs me I’ll be off buying an X-Games board at Walmart.

I’m sure the shareholders at Disney don’t want you to actually do anything for the scene, just line pockets of a few skaters and make yourselves more money.

Wow! The course looked amazing this year. Those steep brick transitions would be so much fun to skate!
