Active Blingfest
Once again Active held the Annual Blingfest in Rancho Cucamonga. Billy Marks won it again! It was pretty insane and everybody came out to show their support. This year was a little different because Kr3w had the 0 hammers going on during the contest. On each obstacle whoever was throwing down hammers Angel from Kr3w would hand them a Benjamin which undoubtedly upped the level of tricks that where being thrown down on that particular obstacle.
There had to be at least 3000 people that showed up and I didn’t get a chance to see all the vendors or check out any of the bands because I was busy taking these pics. The top three names that came to mind in terms of consistency would be Billy Marks, Greg Lutzka, Tyler Hendley and Leo Romero.
These guys were also landing big tricks on the last obstacle which was the rail they are but not limited to Billy Marks, Greg Lutzka, Leo Romero(who showed up with a couple of black eyes and a new board sponsor), Tyler Hendley, Jerome Rogers, Evan Hernandez, Lindsey Robertson, Tory Pudwill and Tommy Sandoval. Dave Duncan was out there announcing which was pretty cool and here are some of the skate legends that showed up Andrew Reynolds, Eric Koston, Chad Muska, Mark G, Rob Dyrdek and Big Black and many more of todays top skaters.
