New releases of premium footwear, apparel and accessories in celebration of Independent’s 40th Anniversary
The collaboration series continues for Vans and Independent Truck Co.’s storied partnership in celebration of Independent’s 40th anniversary. The Vans x Independent collection has released new styles of premium footwear, apparel and accessories, highlighting Vans Pro Skate signature models such as the AV Classic Pro, the Half Cab Pro, and the Crockett Pro 2.
Expanding upon Vans and Independent’s largest footwear and apparel collection to date, the new releases continue to showcase Vans’ emblematic checkerboard motif with Independent’s distinguished cross logo, unified by the look and feel of a classic Independent truck, with metallic silver foxing stripes and rubber outsoles that match the signature translucent and glossy orange hue that are unique to Indy bushings.
The Vans x Independent footwear assortment employs Vans’ proven technology, offering durability and support through the integration of UltraCush™ HD footbeds for heavy impact, Duracap-reinforced uppers for ultimate durability, and Vans’ original waffle outsoles for maximum boardfeel. In addition, the Half Cab Pro and Crockett Pro 2 both feature increased coverage and protection with an “X-Tuff” premium coated material on the toe, while the Crockett Pro 2 offers its renowned WaffleCup construction, for superior vulcanized cupsole support.
