Skateboarding has, and probably always will be, a city sport. It’s just a little hard to really get your ollies popping hard in the middle of a corn field, and who knows how to grind a cow? If there’s one thing you can say about the people over at Transworld, it’s that they know their stuff. Ben Kelly recently put together a list of the 10 best cities to skate in the world and by the looks of it, it doesn’t look like he was very wrong. In no particular order, the cities compiled were as follows…
1. Barcelona
2. L.A.
3. New York
4. San Francisco
5. Paris
6. Melbourne
7. London
8. Shenzen
9. Berlin
10. Tel Aviv
Definitely places to check out if you’re ever around any of them with your board in hand. Even if you don’t have it, Tel Aviv has plenty of topless beaches, which we think are pretty cool in themselves. Let us know what your favorite skate cities are in the comment box below!
