    1. Hi Mr. Hawk. My name is Garry Eurich. I seen a show on tv how you got started in the skate board business. Quite interesting .. in 1965 I was a junior in high school.. I was and still am a wood working guy. So in woodshop I made a 30” x 7” skate board. I laminated two strips of dark walnut and the lighter wood was beechwood. Looked real cool. I got my dad to buy me some shoe skates. Rubber wheels. He had know idea that I did this. So I think I may have been the first with rubber wheel. Just not in the right place at the right time . I was one heck of a skate border. I could stand on my hands and come down th my butt. Fun time. I don’t think I could du it at the age of 71. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ’₯😎 Have a Grand day ..
