How To: Ollie With Tony Hawk

Remember the first time you were starting out skating? How nice would it have been if one of the legends of skateboarding was right next to you giving you pointers?

Trying to add a little bit to our How-To section, the fellas here at Skateboardingmagazine.com decided maybe we should bring it back a few notches, or perhaps quite a few notches for some of you. We’re aware that some of you fellas and ladies have no problem shredding up the streets like something out of a Tony Hawk video game, but not everyone does, so we wanted to bring it back to the basics. And what better way to teach you how to skate like Tony Hawk…then to be taught by Tony Hawk!?

Here’s a old-school instructional video on the Ollie, which if not done right, can actually be a bit of a tricky move to learn. Hope it helps some of you beginners out there. Learn this trick, and you’ll be on your way to bigger and better ones in no time!
