The first ever Street League Skateboarding Women’s SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship took place in Chicago, IL this afternoon at the UIC Pavilion and a winner wasn’t decided until the last second, when the ladies took their final attempts.

Brazil’s Leticia Bufoni tre flipped her way to first place, won a $30,000 check, and a Nixon watch worth $11,000. Her 360 flip across the up down gap had eluded her on her third and fourth attempts of the Best Trick section, but not on her fifth. Bufoni rolled up, scooped, flicked and landed it perfectly. And to celebrate such a huge moment — the landing of that trick not the victory because she hadn’t won yet, she spiked her skateboard on top of the quarter pipe like she caught a hail mary in the endzone. Congratulations Leticia Bufoni!

Final Results:
1. LETICIA BUFONI -22.8
2. VANESSA TORRES – 20.4
3. ALANA SMITH – 16.4
4. LACEY BAKER – 14.0
5. PAMELA ROSA – 13.3
6. MARISA DAL SANTO – 12.3
7. SAMARRIA BREVARD – 9.7
8. ALEXIS SABLONE – 8.9
