As an after-effects junky myself, I highly approve this new stop motion style skateboard animation. Here’s a few words from it’s creator:
“A real homemade skateboarding animation.
I grabbed skate sequences from Google and from magazines such as The Skateboard Mag, SKATEboarding and Juxtapoz for the artwork.
Skaters are animated using different animating techniques, like stop motion photography or by animating them with After Effects.
Here’s a short list of the skaters appearing:

Gilbert Crockett
Luan Oliveira
Zac Archuleta
Casey Wells
and so many more I can’t find the name right now.
