A fingerboard is a miniature skateboard. It has moving parts and the company Tech Deck is the most popular manufacturer of fingerboards. They have support from these major skateboard companies.
You can practice may tricks on fingerboards like the ollie, shove it, nose slides, tail slides, flip tricks, grind tricks and so on.
There are many different ramps and obstacles made for fingerboards as well such as the Tech Deck Blind Stair and Ramp Skatepark with Real Metal Rails, Tech Deck 2-Piece Vertical Ramp Set,Tech Deck Skatepark Quarter Pipe & Grind Rail World Industries. They also make street spots like the Brooklyn Banks.

okay, for those who want to, or do take fingerboarding seriously, i HIGHLY suggest you do some research for top of the line REAL fingerboards, and equipment.
fingerboarding has evolved allot, just type in fingerboarding on youtube, and you will only see about 100/2000 videos where a tech deck is used.

about that real fingerboard thing, i do agree. i have some old old tech decks from when i was around 7 and i am now 15 and if you can find an old one, they are crafted about 100x better then the new tech decks, they are thinner, lighter, and if u have noticed on the new ones where they make the place for grip engraved, well the old ones do not have that and the griptape doesnt come off in water. i think they work about as good as a berlinwood if you know what your doing. the new ones r crap but if u can get your hands on an old one, do it. you will see what i am talking about. if not get a berlinwood or a flatface.

why cant they just do it in an ordinary way… no sketch and no over ollies that are so exaggerated and better try to land near the tip of their fingers…just like a real skateboard…i knew someone who play so legit…

I really don’t know if tech decks are that good. The old ones might be (never tried one,) but the new ones are crap. They are tiny, difficult to control, and don’t look or feel like a real sk8board. Also, the bushings are crap and the wheals wobble. If you want to be serious about fingerboarding, make a wooden deck or buy one. I would also recommend bearing wheals and tech deck trucks with home made bushings. Also, the tech deck ramps are very light weight and need to be tapped down, not to mention expensive, considering its just plastic. Buy wooden ramps or make your own using cardboard, aluminum, wood, etc. There are many decent guides on Utube.
Kind of long and drawn out, but in a nutshell, tech deck isn’t a very good brand.

I luv berlinwood finger board it works and feels like a real skate board.they scuff wen u board slide and Everything. the wrinker wheels feel and look beauty-ful. The trucks at blackriver-ramps r sexy, that’s wat real finger boarding is not the new plastic shit,and yes the old fingerboards r good and better tnen thu ones now but I only use wooden,it makes me look and feel like a pro,most girls suck at fingerboarding but I don’t cause I take it seriuosly.I’m just like choi yee yau,lol.
