Skullcandy Launches Limited-Edition Earbuds Ahead of Go Skateboarding Day

Featured

Born on a chairlift in Park City, Utah, action sports has always been central to Skullcandy’s culture which is why the brand has announced its annual, month-long “Skate with Buds” celebration of skateboarding, coinciding with International Go Skateboarding Day on June 21.

The month-long celebration kicks off on June 1 with the release of three exclusive Skate with Buds Sesh® Evo earbuds. More information about the products is detailed below.

Through its 2021 Sound Without Boundaries campaign, Skullcandy has partnered with multi-dimensional athletes, musicians and visual artists, known as “Boundary Breakers,” each sharing messages of change. The roster features several skateboarders, including Briana KingKyuss & Rasmus King, Hannah & Tim Eddy, as well as global ambassador Andy Anderson, who will be part of history this summer when skateboarding debuts at the Tokyo Olympics. During its “Skate with Buds” celebration, Skullcandy will share skate-specific content on social media channels featuring Boundary Breakers, special promotions and exclusive skateboard-themed products.

Skate with Buds Sesh® Evo True Wireless Earbuds

The new Skate with Buds Sesh Earbuds are selling for $59.99 and are available in three colors, Bleached Blue, Pure Mint, and Deep Red. The Sesh Evo makes it easier than ever to go truly wireless. The earbuds feature 24 hours of total battery + Rapid Charge. The buds themselves hold up to 5 hours, and the case charges the buds three times between plug-ins. Plus, with Rapid Charge, the first 10 minutes of charging gives you 2 hours of play-time. Sesh Evo also boasts an IP55 rating for sweat, water, and dust resistance.

The Sesh Evo’s also feature Skullcandy’s fearless Use Promise – if anything ever happens to a bud or the case, Skullcandy will replace it at a discount. For call, track, and volume control, easy controls let you adjust volume, skip tracks, take calls, activate an assistant, and even select different EQ modes without ever touching your phone. You can even use the Sesh Evo’s solo. One of the coolest features is the built-in Tile™ technology that makes it easy to track down either earbud if you ever misplace them. All you need to do is download the Tile app and follow the instructions to activate.
