Industry Skate Day in the brand new Vans Pro Bowl

Skateboarding

We got this invite from the good folks over at vans to come down and skate the bowl on Monday. It is a cement bowl this year and it was inspired by the skatepark du prado bowl in Marseilles. I am personally very excited to go down and skate this bowl because this particular contest has been so fun over the past 6 or 7 years.

The public bowl on the beach

In the past, this bowl has been wooden and it was fine but this takes it to a whole new level. It should also be better to skate early in the morning because the wooden bowls seem to collect a lot of moisture because they were located so close to the ocean.

Today I went down and checked out the public bowl that they let everybody skate and it has not changed much which is great. There is a spine connected two bowls there and it is very small and very fun to skate!
