Rookie Recap – Bastien Salabanzi

Pro Skaters

French native Bastien Salabanzi was the only Street League Rookie to qualify for the Championship this year,  not to mention he netted a cool $66,000 in the process.  That’s not bad money for doing something you love to do, and even better perhaps for a man who at one time had lost all of his sponsors and was heading in a downward spiral. However Bastian has come back strong, showing off his skill set with enthusiasm and a touch of flair no other skater in Street League can compare to. Here’s a little video for Mr. Salabanzi, showing you some behind the scenes preparation and also Bastien’s thoughts on the Championship and his first year in Street League.
