Vans and Dime Partner on All-New Style, the Wayvee

Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, is proud to unveil our newest style, the Wayvee, designed from the ground up with input from skateboarders who know what it means to push the limits of style and progression. To mark the launch, Vans has partnered with Dime Skateboards to create two colorways, highlighting the Wayvee’s evolution in skate performance and style and underscored with Dime’s signature yellow hue.

The Wayvee is built with an all-new upper construction that incorporates reinforced translucent mesh quarters for maximum breathability, flex and a DURACAP toe cap for prolonged life of the shoe. An interior LuxLiner provides a sock-like fit for more support and comfort. 

Grounded on Vans’ revolutionary Wafflecup outsole, the Wayvee gives skaters the cupsole support they need with the vulcanized boardfeel they demand—all in one shoe. The result is unbelievable flex, durability, and maximum impact cushioning. 

Partnering with likeminded Dime, a brand that sits comfortably at the intersection of fashion and skateboarding, Vans brings this iteration of the Wayvee to life in two colorways: evening blue and egret. Luxe suede and embroidered Vans and Dime logos offer an elevated look, while Dime’s signature yellow runs through the insole and “Off The Wall” heel scab. Finally, the clear outsole makes a statement with Dime printed beneath the surface.

Dime started as a small crew of skate kids filming clips in their hometown of Montreal, Canada, and quickly grew into one of skateboarding’s most influential brands. Known to put humor first, Dime’s skate videos have a nostalgic ‘90s aesthetic that won the hearts of skateboarders globally. Their annual Dime Glory Challenge presented by Vans is one of skateboarding’s most entertaining and insane skate events out there, cementing Dime’s place as a cultural force to be reckoned with.
